The mind boggles, I stopped counting at 7. lol But then I have a vivid imagination and I'm sure you'd think me mad if I told you what I saw, so I'll spare you that. -grin- Like Diane I love the colors and textures, a really fun image. Excellent.

Can't say I follow the crime scene view, but it does look like the watermelon coconut candy you get at old time candy stores. I most enjoy the abstract nature of your composition Rik, it has no consistency which makes it very interesting to look at, the eye keeps trying to make sense, theres lots of fun in that. Much to see ? Tons to see!!! Hey, have you tried turning it on its side??? Dare ya! FANTASTIC exploration out of the box Rik!! (=

I couldn't see him at first but he's got his head on the side halfway down the RH side and his arm's pointing up to the top of the picture... and there's so much blood, oh, I can't look anymore!! (ROTFL) Excellent!

For one this isnt a fresh corpse as its clear that its already decomposing and the maggots are doing their job of cleaning up .Also this isnt a crime scene ,this person overindulged himself with chili con carne and numerous bottles of beer on a hot summers day and just exploded . This looks like a real painting and you did a good job !

Overall, I see nothing but a striking and pleasant to see abstraction, were the PC meets the classic brush. When you split it in parts and join them together again, I agree with thomaniac. It's a collage of faces in different stages of terror and despair. Great job!!

The Butler did it plain and simple!...really interesting and beautiful work Rik!

i think this is a crime scene in the rain - details are being lost and flowing into one another, faces squishing and losing depth and yet layers of information on top of one another - the textures are effective and the colours - like the underbrush of a forest - make this thought-provoking - excellent Rik!!

Like a darkened and melted version of James Ensor his masquerade paintings. IMHO, one of the best works I've ever seen from you, Rik. Congratulations!! V
