Description

Here is another photo taken from my car while passing through central Florida. This time I pulled over and shot it from an open window. I THINK this is a field of sugar can but can't be 100% certain. It certainly looks like it. The plants are about 8 ft. tall and have the "wheatish" looking seed pods on top that catch the sunlight in a golden haze. I wish I could give you an answer whether its sugarcane or not. Would have to be there to see it in person. It has all the looks of sugarecane. Aloha

Really like the translucence of the stalks. I wouldn't know either,as I live in a place we don't have it. Great image,and glad you stopped for this one.

I'm not too bothered by the pros and cons of the Fla. sugar industry - protected, subsidized rotters of children's teeth etc... etc... But the picture is great.
