"April?" Emma asks, concerned. April sits in the dirt, shaking, her head buried in her hands. "April? What's going on? Is...is what Derek said true?" April lifts her head. Her cheeks are damp with tears. "I was...I was so lost." She wipes her cheek with the back of her hand and finally brings herself to meet Emma's gaze. "Yes Emma, it's true." The group falls silent, each consumed by their own thoughts and memories. A soft hiss escapes Derek's lips as a fresh twang of pain shoots up his injured arm. "Are you okay?" April asks. "You don't look so good." "I'm...a little weak," Derek replies. "We should probably get moving soon." April nods and looks solemnly at Derek's severed wrist. He's lost a lot of blood. Unless they get to Katerina soon, she doubts he'll make it through the night. With a resigned sigh, she rocks back and climbs to her feet. With one final glance at the setting sun, she puts a hand on Derek's head, and takes Emma's hand in the other. "Hold on, you guys," she says, her voice thick with anticipation. "I haven't done this in a while." There is a blinding flash. Katerina's living room appears around them. "April!" Emma gasps. "Oh my God..." "She's a Goddess," Derek explains. "All the Goddesses can trans-exist." April stands in the middle of the room, shoulders slumped, all too aware of the two sets of awe-struck eyes upon her. Her hands clench nervously. "Find Katerina," she tells Emma. "Derek needs her. And get your arm checked too." "Are...are you leaving?" Emma asks, her voice becoming shaky. April says nothing, unable to bring herself to say goodbye. Finally, almost imperceptibly, she nods. "April, no!" There is another flash. April is gone.
