Description

The moon rises over Kozar - the mountain fortress of Mordimus and his massive orc army. The scene is dark and mournful as moonlight spills across the mountain's peak and fills the huge gorge that runs along its shoulders. Mordimus stands high on a ledge, watching over the scene as hundreds of orcs stream out of the gateway that leads to his caverns, their wagons laden with the dead villagers of Mangelica, bound for the gruesome long-forgotten lair of the Necromancer. And so ends one of the most tumultuous days in Sarodor's history. Credits: Orc by GhostOfMacbeth MCFS Textures by GhostOfMacbeth MCFS from DAZ Gothic Armour and Textures from RDNA Wagon from RDNA Freak Morphs and Textures from DAZ Scenery by me Posed in Poser Rendered in Vue Composited in Paint Shop Pro Notes: My biggest scene yet, this image contains approximately 150 orcs and 5 trolls. It was rendered in 10 parts, totalling around 6 hours of render time. I need a holiday. :)

Magnificent! A total render time of 6 hours is pretty good, but you didn't say how many hours you took to set this one up. Must have been much more than 6 hours! Awesome POV, the shadows and torches are fantastic, the terrain is fantastic. Yes, this certainly reminds me of those incredible Bryce scenes by Flak. Could you tell us how you did this? It's a Masterpiece! Big Vote!
