Description
This shot has been taken in August 2004, in the parrt of the French Alps called "Vercors", above Saint-Julien-en-Vercors.
The Vercors mountains are characterized by cliffs overhanging the valleys. Here is the view you have from the top of one of these cliffs.

C'est un endroit du Vercors que je regrette de connaitre si peu. Je crois que je n'y ai passqu'une apr-midi ou 2 et ce genre de photos va me faire monter mon taux de nostalgie un seuil critique... ARGGHGHHH..

Ohhhh myyyyy... what a shot. Man does that bring out the acrophobia. Just an awesome shot, captures so much so perfectly... great juxtaposition of near and far. Esp like the way you worked the foreground rocks and greenery into the shot.
