2D Forum January Theme: Typography
impossible it can seem
to hold a single thought
as elusive as a single fish
disappearing into its school
I didn't set out to make a Theme image when I started work on this, but it was just crying out for some typography so I rambled out a few lines of text! Flowing text on a path is one of the nice new functions in Photoshop CS - previously I'd have had to use CorelDRAW for that, so it's a welcome feature! The "fish" arrived pretty much by chance ;-)

Fantastic work ! When i saw the thumbnail without reading the artist name i presumed this could be from you. Somehow an own style. I didnt recognized the fish at first sight - great detailed "3d effect" work. Compliment.

jim - cool - simply cool!!! i really like the "babel-fish" idea (thanks cassie) great colors and great concept - the floating of the shapes and structures together with the words... great! :) thanks for sharing...! and definitely a really cool addition to the theme...!

I am reminded of the cinema with this image. I suppose it's the proportion and the row of squares. The all caps typo is pretty cool with the hint of a shadow. Would look devine printed on glossy card advertising nothing in particular!

I really like this flying fish! It's fascinating, and makes also a smile on my face:-) The composition looks perfect; the colours vivid fish colours, and the text floating in the air so nicely. Great piece! :-)
