Description

Why I was walking along the stream in the Glencoe I was impressed by the colored stones in it! Some were covered by orange lichens like this one. Nothing special just playing around with my camera! Thanks for your visit and all wanderful comment! Have a nice week!

Ciao dear friend!Wonderful capture! It is very attractive and interesting to see like the lichens have decorated these stones! You knew to pick a lot well these details from the fantastic colors! Attractive the effect of the stones seen across the transparency dell' water! The nature is all attractive and wonderful!! Who loves the nature knows to look at with the simplicity, the delight and the wonder of a child!! You are a large artist with a delicate sensibility!Ciao dear friend!Have a happy day and a great new week!Warm greetings and a big hug!:-))

Your shot has captured some really nice colours, Rita. One stream / 'burn', near to my grandmother's house had lots of lovely stones in it, too. Tom WEIR once showed how people still pan for gold in the upper reaches of the River Clyde, in the area around Leadhills ( south of Glasgow ). The Romans did so too. But the nuggets found today are small, and are usually just dust. This gold coloured lichen reminded me of that scene. Thanks, John.

So pretty Susanne, The water is so clear as well, most fscinatin the way the lichen covers those pretty stones, , guess the cold water, stops it from gettin dirty. Beutiful shot. V LIna
