Description

Glencoe, same place, only half an hour later, sun covered by clouds. An world fall atmosphere! As Pimbotin said about the cumulus clouds yesterday "you may have had a bad weather in the following hours" it was a sign for bad weather! But not for this day, the sun was coming back! All what you've seen about Scotland in wonderful sunlight happened in the first one week of my vacation. This was the last sunny day I had in Scotland and it was the start for 2 weeks of non stop rain and bad weather! ;o((( Hope you enjoy and many hugs for all your welcome comments!

How sad... This area is well known and famous for this bad weather. I imagine the frustration, especially after one week of sunny weather; you know quite well what you're missing... I wouldn't have liked this.

All I can say is that if the bad weather in Scotland looks like this, I wouldn't mind two weeks of it at all :D Fabulous shot :))

Fantastic. I love Glen Coe. I got caught in a white out there once. Very amazing to see a wall of snow roaring towards us. We got out of the car and into the only pub for miles with seconds to spare. This photo really captures the dark side of Glen Coe.

How the green glens get transformed by the setting sun! This is a whole new world by itself! I thoroughly enjoyed your series. This is a beautiful sunset shot!

This is another beautiful shot - loads of atmosphere with the gathering clouds. I hope the rain didn't spoil your break in Scotland too much.

We dont have bad weather in Scotland, we just have weather (lots of it) if we are told that it is bad weather our lives are ruined he he. Excellent and classic Glencoe scene, the UK's highest rainfall area. It goes with the territory

As Lost Patrol said, Rita, this IS the normal Scottish weather. Sometimes the sun is just a memory. On my first 'foreign' holiday in Paignton, Devon, south west England, some 30 years ago, our land lady apologised for the rain. My wife and I informed her that it was the first WARM RAIN / SHOWER we had ever encountered, outside of a swimming pool. Nice shot of Glencoe. Regards, John.
