But maybe the frame takes away the eyes from the image too much? It is a lovely scene, and I really like the compo, for me the frame is a little big, but an excellent shot all the same.

Hope inside you feel better than outside. In my opinion the border is catching to much attention. But sometimes I'm a border maniac so I understand what you wanted to do. Anyway a nice image.

no the frame is good.. it doesnt smother the actually photo..it gives the landscape breathing space... fantastic work as always monika..:)

fabulous shot I like the grey wintery feel - frames I prefer a more traditional one so I liked the other one shown in forum but agree with LP a balck line would look good I think.

The first version in the forum is too pale, cause the picture itself is a bit pale. The second frame is ok, the one presented here is far too dominant. And the overall impression... I miss the akinoM magic here, a strong composition, a reason for my eyes wandering through the photo... Vielleicht bin ich auch einfach nur zu me, um einfach nur lieb zu sein...

Wonderful image Moni! Not sure about the frame as it does distract my eye. But I like the effect you did with it just the same. I think framework is just a matter of personal taste, I like adding them to my work, but when I add them I think of them more as a matte rather then a frame. Hugs!

I like it, it gives it a little mystery. I tried all kinds of framing and I find a small white border with a black line inside works just fine for me..one mans opinion....I like the image tho-you have captured a cold grey day, brrrrr...still too cold for this Hawaiian blood! Aloha to you Monika!

the image is very beautiful, Monica, but i don't care for the framing. i think it takes away from the image. i do like how the road continues into the frame though....if you could do that but maybe with a different frame??? let me go leave comment in forum. a peaceful winter capture!!

I like the original picture. As long as you are open to viewers opinions, I'll offer mine. I like the black around the photo, but the blurry frame does seem to take my eyes away from the picture. The photo might look better just B/W. A plain wide white border would seem better in my eyes.
