Description
A summer's re-visit to the Grounds For Sculpture offered this glimpse as walking through an incredible pergola covered in wistera vines ... there is a rock based, dry river bed bridge leading off from the pergola toward a sculpture that reasonates as an ampitheatre. the height requires a fence which in this environment acts as an additional sculpture. Gardener's have played with planting a variety of vines and heat loving perenials between the wire and the fence supports and the rocks in an interesting patch work of texture and color, static and dynamic. The ubiquitous trumpet vine thrives.....

i'm reminded of mistletoe. i love the textures and rich red color. it's a beautiful place for me to sit and read some cs lewis. beautiful, lynn!!
