Description


I set out to make some "oldfashioned" spirals. Took some time to finish this first one. You know how it is: it looks good but can it look even better. So add just one more layer. And another one. And change the gradient just a bit. Change the merge mode. No that's no good. Put it back. Is it better with more blue, more lavender or more green? The debates with myself go on and on. But I finally managed to agree with myself that it looks good now. Or maybe even excellent ;-)

I think you found a nice place Yvonne! I like the watercolor look of the coloring...light colors but enough darks to give it depth.

If you are in that state you should copy (Cntrl-D) your UF window, hold several versions in parallel. Then render them all with Quick AA in 800x800 and look at them not before tomorrow. After that you can try again to get a decision :-) BTW: I like your picture.

im not sure what andreas means yvonne, but if you got it, please e-mail this, i think he means you can see them all together, and you are far better on the comp. than i am. you know i like pastels, thats why i choose it( we can vote now)and i think this is the niciest you made until now.
