I for one don't think anything looks wrong with the central pawn. Whole image looks great. Strange chess position, but it is a very striking render. Did you do the textures? That wood looks awesome. If you did that wood, bravo. If it came with cinema 4D, maybe I should switch from LightWave, which comes with really crappy default wood textures... Did you use hdri? Overall very cool pic
