I had the opportunity to spend the day on a strip mine job and thought many of you may never have seen one. This is just one of many interesting shots from that adventure

sad realism maybe for the land...but without the mine a good many people wouldn't be working. one of those trade-offs that life is so full of unfortunately. excellent work Vik! love the detail and the compositional elements!!
