After a break I be back on Renderosity to show new captures in my gallery.
I live in Germany in a city what I hate. So I use every possibility to get into nature in which I love to hike and capture landscapes and nature moods.
Mostly I visited Scotland, Norway, Swizzerland and Faroer Islands and I try to bring you close to the special charme of each country.
Hope we see us in the galleries and think around corners 😉

First I saw the thumb.... I said in my mind : This is made by sossy. Then I looked at the author's name : It's SOSSY :)) Very interesting chamber I think and interesting collection of old "stuff". Impressive !

Sossy, I keep meaning to come visit your gallery but.....Anyway, this really caught my attention! I assume that these slabs were meant to lay on top of a tomb, not be tombstones or markers. I can't help but wonder why they are stored like this. Maybe they were never used, maybe replaced over time, maybe new laws called for reburials. Great looking shot, fascinating objects!

What a find. Never would you see that where I live. Only thing I think they ruined is putting the glass roof on that building. Such a nice loking stonework.

How did you find this, Rita. Nice hunting. However, I think they may well be from the period 1200+ AD, not 1700 AD. I know that a couple I have seen on another website ( ww.darkisle.com/k/kilmartin/kilmartin.html )have dates in the early 1700s on them, but the style here is much earlier. Regards, John.

Excellent and interesting shot, Rita ! I like especially the liitle roof seen throught the window :)) And the postwork is perfect ! I know very well, how much work with Photoshop it is, to produce such a perfect mixture of difficult light-conditions. Ich ziehe bewundernd meine Kappe vor Dir :))
