Description
This was an old model. I was testing Lightwave 8.2's newer rendering features. I was surprised that classic low antialiasing with classic low reconstruction without adaptive sampling took 5 minutes and 4 seconds. While this image at pld 1 pass antialiasing with gaussian reconstruction without adaptive sampling took about 1 minute 12seconds. Seems to be the same time with or without adaptive sampling. While the classic low antialiasing with adaptive sampling took about 2 minutes and 24 seconds. This is EXCELLENT for stills. Haven't the time to test it for animation purposes though. Happy 'waving everybody.

Ahhh... the translucency/transparency of the crest fin on his head is brilliant. Awesome modeling as always... wish you'd post more stuff. :o)

Fantastic render bud. I am hoping to upgrade to LW 8.2 and the test results you have highlighted make me want it sooner. :o) (VOTE) a very menacing character indeed!

Thanks for the comments :) . Hey tony_br22 not exactly an orc but close :D . Hey Moe, I'll try posting more, but no new personal work from me, too much work :( . Hey petes yes shadows are on, I tried to light it like a photographer, minimizing shadows in the image. Hey ZENO go for 8 it's great, I recommend it.
