Description
I was supposed to post a series about the majorettes and carnival but got obsessed this week with the concept of showing Carnival like no one has showed before. Just too easy to post pictures of colours and stuff.
So I decided that to take a glimpse at what's behind the mask, I needed to peel away the surface of colours. A Colourless Carnival, that sounds almost like a contradiction but I started exploring in that direction and I have begun to find very interesting things.
The first thing I post is something that quite shocked me while I was DD-it (that's my short for DigitalDarkrooming it, LOL).
I couldn't imagine that such powerful images could lie beneath the surface of the carnival colours.
I shoot it at the end of teh day, when the streets were getting empty and the dark arriving. I offer it without further comment, I let you see what yuo feel to see in it.
Wish me good luck as I am off for further findings in the realm of Colourless Carnival.

It's actually quite dramatic and allows the viewer to see the design of the costumes much better. Not all that colorization to detract. I would like to see a really good action shot in blk and wht! hint : D
