Description

I just got the Griffon from the 3d commune news letter. Meski Hippogrif is by Robert Cox.A big thank you for the cool freebie . It is also set up to use in Bryce Has its own file for that also and mat file . Pretty cool if you ask me :)I know Studley and Bill will like that ;) About my post yesterday . I just think that like Jonna said .Sometimes we do just say awesome image and not point out what to better an image .But I usually I IM someone and give them tips .Not on the image itself . . But I will say that if any one at all sees something that doesnt look right in my images .I welcome the tips. I know that I am just an amature in doing this .But I do it for fun and to learn .It is because of you that I have come this far .It is the support and you that challenge me to better myself. If Lorie and Di Tiello would have blasted me on my first image like I have seen some poeple do to others lately .I would have been crushed and left.I posted the image to learn and get tips not for my ego .But it was all of you supporting me and giving me tips has brought me thus far and I thank you :) Because of Paul letting me sell my work for charity .He has challenged me to make images better .Thanks my friend . Any way I love you guys and thank you for letting me be so long winded . This may be my last post for a week .I have to go to training in Washington . I will miss you all and will be looking forward to returning to see all your cool works .I am going to be like a junkie with no internet and no poser .I ereally need a laptop LOL Love and Blessings Me ;) The outfit is by my dear friend Rick .Please remember to keep him and his family in prayers

This is a beautiful scene, Bobby. Being a night scene, A few night shadows would set it off wonderfully. :)

Cool image Bobby!!! The Hippogriff is terrific, thanks for the tip. I don't think your long winded at all, you just had a lot to say. I think there's a huge difference between constructive criticism and snide remarks. I saw some of the "comments" that were made and to me they weren't constructive at all. Many of them were criticizing personal choices made by the artist. If someone wants to put Vicki into a castle wearing a pvc outfit that's their choice. Constructive criticism should consist of helping them with Poser or postwork techniques.

Fantastic! It looks like the two comrades are keeping a close eye over everything. I love the setting and lighting since they help add to the overall mood to your image. I agree with people making constructive suggestions on work since I know the ones who have taken time to do so on my work has been exceptionally helpful. However, the comments have all been positive, tactful and chalk full of great suggestions. That's the difference between helping and hindering...tact and kindness. It's not rocket science. Awesome artwork! WLYB? You know, right? ;)

Great Griffin. A cool render, love the colors. The expression on the girl's face alone is worth the render! Excellent work.

Have a great trip Bobby. We'll look after each other. You bring up the two things that I have been really thinking about, support and criticism. Good feedback isn't just attaboys, it is help in the right direction. Sometimes that direction is back to the drawing board, lol. But tact is important. Since we are all doing our best, most of the time, any feedback can be hurtful and unasked for, unkind attacks can really wound. I really hope we CAN care enough about each other to render support and helpful expert crits. Thanks for your feedback and yea, love the image!!
