Description
As the children sped around the half open door, full of anticipation, I heard them stop suddenly and with a low "Whoaaaaaa, that's weird"....I came through the door to face what had stopped them in their tracks....
We stood in the narrow, tree defined room behind the door for some time As we each recovered from our initial glimpse of this incredible sight before us, she appeared to change. Suddenly, she seemed quite beautiful and rather transplendant in the noonday sun.

This sculpture is only visible when the door captured in the previous post is unlocked and one is willing to venture inside....adding a special intensity to the day for the children and me. She is lifesize, and the area of her face that is missing is hollowed out and an exquisite gold and bronze metallic surface glows out from within. It was an especially hot August day and the vision was made all the more impressive in such light....

this is not what i expected to find behind that door! i was hoping it was gonna be My Secret Garden and Not a scary statue!! LOL! very impressive capture, Lynn, and the lighting is exquisite!

squawk "Whoaaaaaa, that's weird" squawk (lol) "transplendant" is one of those $10 words that doesn't seem to be in my $7.99 dictionary, but I get the jest of the word as used in your sentence!
