This day, the 14th of February, is special to them. This place is also special to them. On this special day they have returned to this special place that bought them together. It was on this day of the year, so many years ago that they first met. They were married here on the first anniversary of their meeting, in a little chapel that once stood on this very location. When they met, this area was a popular resort, frequented by the members of high society. In those days they both had jobs here in the main hotel, she was a maid while he was a busboy and bellhop. They were needed by management, but were shunned by management and guests alike for being "that kind of people". Now the guest are gone; with their fortunes long ago lost or spent, and are mostly forgotten by today's high society, the hotel, chapel and the entire resort are gone now. The land has slowly been reclaimed by nature. If you look carefully you can still see the remains of some of the piling that the docks were once built upon, the very same docks that serviced the yachts of the guests. Now there is nothing left here but ruins and nature. Nothing of this place has survived from those haughty days, except for the memories and their love that was kindled here. As the years have passed their fires of youthful passion may have dimmed, somewhat, but the love that fuel it remains and has grown ever deeper and stronger.
