Description

Whoo! I'm really getting into Vectoring. I loves it my preciousssss. Again, this started as a Poser render, I liked the render as I used a Global Light set which gave it a real nice solid feel. But (there's always a but) I just didn't like the render so I thought I'd try out Illustrator as I've just got it. I gave that up after ten minutes because I couldn't figure it out and I have very little patience at the moment so I moved everything into Photoshop and did it there. I'll probably be beaten upside the head for it but I freely admit I cheated a little with this piece as some of the shading was done by overlaying the original render at various settings. I was generally messing around but I loved the result. One of my main problems is making stuff too complicated so I tried my best to keep this as simple as possible. 2 Diet Cokes, 1 Cup of Tea, 1 Cadbury's Double Decker Bar. Mmm! Thank you very much kindly sir/madam for looking

fantastic character design and rendering. Working with vectors in Illustrator can be a real ball ache with all the changing between tools. May I recommend Freehand as an alternative - so much easier to create and manipulate paths and fills. InDesign is also excellent, as you get the vector and colour control of Illustrator with the layer features of photoshop. Plus it's easy to copy and past freehand elements. Keep up the great work!

Bloody marvellous. Crisp, clear and elegant. Like a Nagel, if he'd ever turned his hand to Manga.
