A memo of another era when strength could be added by one more link of iron. Welding was not to be trusted as it puddled the atachment and lost the singularity of a pin. Shiney rails means the train is not far off. The weathered timbers and rusty iron in this design from the end of the 19th century symbolizes the spirit of exploitation that insisted all wealth come from the earth so much that the top entrepreneurs were called "plutocrats." Well, let's cross that river with our major load now!!

cool shot. make you wonder how Frank James can jump out a train window on a Trestle and land in a creek at the bottom to get away when he was caputor one time. lol[ read that in a old history book. ]
