Guillaume, After reading some of your comments, I had to come see what art your beautiful spirit and heart create. This is so beautiful! It speaks to me on several levels. Conflicting ones. The spectral man with the book evokes a feeling of being 'earthbound'. The structure with the illumination makes me think of the spirit within the body of our flesh. The whirlwind above the structure, of the transition from this physical realm to the infinite dimentionality that we, as mortal beings are denied access to. Your writing reminds me of the Egyptian dieties. Anubis who presided over the weighing of the heart against the feather of Ma'at, the goddess of truth and justice. Your use of Black and White creates a different impact than a color image would. This is more dramatic. Your use of substance and shadow is exquisite! Your dedication to your friend is beautiful as well. This is beyond excellent! Thanks for sharing your talent...Leanndra

I already looked at this before but did not have time to leave my thoughts... now I do! This to me is a very cryptic image that can be interpreted in many different ways (which I really like). My first impression is that of the afterlife. Ghostly visions from the life left behind make the new plane of existance seem barren and lonely, yet the light is a beacon of hope... a comfort from the conflicting storms of memory and the sense of isolation that your 'passing' has brought upon you. Very cool composition my friend, thank you for sharing this.
