Graphic Designer, turned digital artist, using Poser4, Photoshop 7 and Painter 7 to create photo realistic images of computer generated characters.
BIOTrained as a Graphic Designer and Photographer many years ago, became disillusioned with the commercial side of the art industry and left to do other things. Have now returned to the art world with the assistance of computers and now work with renewed vigour as a digital artist.
With my images created in Poser I have two main objectives, first to produce an individual character and not just a one off portrait. These are stored on disk to be used again and again with a variety of poses, expressions, moods and lighting setups. This brings the character to life with their own individual personality, which over time can be developed, to allow them to mature and age in appearance. Giving them names increase the realism.
My second objective is to produce images with a photographic quality to give the impression that these characters have actually been photographed in a studio or on location.
