Description

Here is the blacksmith's shop for the Halfling Village. Even though halflings dont seem as highly motivated as dwarves, someone still has to get the work done. Inside the shop is an anvil and a tool left on the ground (perhaps they are taking a break).

Another Excellent model! I would really like to see you offer these models (hint, hint! - OK, it's not so subtle...)

Very nicely executed. I like the subtle texturing, and the architectural concept is fabulous. Excellent render.

Ive been releasing models in collections (except for ToonSanta and ToonCupid), but Im thinking about releasing all of them as individuals as well. Im targeting seven models in this collection. Do you think its better to have them all available individually?

Those are some nice models. I would like to see them released as a group. Maybe as a group and Individual if possible to suit everyone. :)

Very very nice indeed! Is this designed as a shop for closing up in the eve and going home or is this a workplace/dwelling like most medieval style structures? This is the the only model youve made in this series that I can see anything to suggest edits of, but if I suggested anything for this beautiful item, it would be a bit of a living space :) More gathered halfling community life data/conclusions from J.R.R. Tolkien's works: While the most poor and destitute of hobbit families lived in holes that were little more than unlined holes in the ground with a single door, the well to do families (as those of the central characters) lived in hole warrens or above ground structures of fine quality and large size. Hobbits in general that can afford it would have large lavish areas to prepare thier 6 primary daily meals, and to make thier snacks in between, most hobbits had multiple pantries and food larders, and in Bilbo's case, his hole had entire rooms dedicated entirely to clothes, multiple guest bedrooms, dens and foyers, etc. I would think as blacksmith's are so prime to any community, they would get good wages or items/services in barter for work, and as they would do all thier work above ground, would possibly have one of the larger and nicer structures to live in, especially if a particular family had been providing the blacksmiths for generation after generation. Just a few thoughts, this whole series is simply incredible and im certain you are going to do great with this in the marketplace :) Logan

Great model, but perhaps thatch is inappropriate for a blacksmiths? One ember in the wrong place...zwoom! Perhaps you could consider tiles?
