Description

To late to get to Mallaig. Driving back along the coast and an almost lonesome area. All along the road there was an atmosphere of rough isolation. One could get lost in all the twilight of wind and rainy darkness! Here a view across Loch Ailort (leading into the open sea) to Laggan and Ardnish. Thanks a lot for all your support and wishing you a restful weekend! ;o)))

Actually the B&W feature is the best way we have to save shots that wouldn't have any interest (because of the bad weather and the lack of light) and to turn them into beautiful pictures. I came to this conclusion with my "binary" shot and every time I see this kind of things, it reminds me that I should use it more frequently. Great work, dear!

Ohhhh I like this, a lot. PERFECT in B&W. Love the gorgeous view and feel of cold and dark and windy. I want to be in a stone manor on a bluff, with a huge window overlooking this view, roaring fire in the fireplace, listening to the wind, sipping brandy and pondering life. Sigh.

Cracking shot in Black and White, Rita, with the wind beating down the waves, almost flattening them. Besest viewed in black and white, through two glass ( one, a window pane, and the other a glass of Black and White whisky ).Less whimsically, I think that sometimes, with the failing light ( even in the middle of the day ) the view in some parts of Scotland, seems to only be in black and white! Moody, but we would not change it. Regards, John.

beautiful view. Your choice to go for B&W just emphasizes the "oppressive" mood. good one!
