Description
Continuation of the Northern Territory Series; This is Australias largest bird of prey and one of the world largest Eagle species. It reaches up to 1.05m in length and has a wing span of about 2.3m. Females are usually larger than males reaching in average about 4kg. They can also soar to altitudes of up to 2000m. This was captured in the Territory Wildlife Park in the Northern Territory (Australia).

I dont know whether you got the blur through postwork, or straight from camera, but to get this kind of stillness and movement in the one frame is very impressive. The particular style of postwork (like your barking owl) is amazing, it makes the photo even more interesting than just normal colour. Brilliant presentation, and super sharp. I've only ever seen A Wedge flying at a distance, and they have a pretty large wingspan! I'm yet to meet one face to face though! =)
