Description


For the record: The overlay is Mayang (we think, see Mayang.com) and obtained from hillrunner, the atmo started out as one from Bob (choronr) and modified by me, the terrain was made with a technique learned from Rich2 (distortion input to perlin module made in World Machine), the strata is StrataGen 2. So I can't take much credit for this, really! :)

Very nice surface and sky. The strata looks a bit too plane IMHO. What about using a height map? Anyway - still a wonderful pic! :-)

Take all the credit you want, very nicely done - but thanks for the recognition, Steve! To gradient: what you do is equalize the distibution modulator whereby the diffused fractal oversampling cancels out the macroperlin effect. Whatever that means...
