I've been married 17 happy years. I've actually been married 23 yrs, but about 17 have really been happy. =^}
I have twin girls just out of high school.
During the day, I am a Certified Engineer specializing in new construction for my local State Highway Dept. In the evenings I do some web design for the locals : http://www.gratrgraphics.com
I started messing with Terragen, but saw fractals posted and fell in love. Picked up Apophysis and became an immediate addict. The images that I render are a little eclectic, but hey...I like them. Hope y'all do also.
I have also written a tutorial for Apophysis:
Creating and Saving Custom Gradient Packs in Apophysis
You can find it under the Fractal section of the tutorial link at the top of the page or you can view it at it's alternate site:

I like the way this flame folds and twists its way to the center. Really draws my eye inward.

Lovely transparency 'n' depth. Pretty details, especially that lovely 'star-flower' in the middle!! V (:

I really love the sheer look that you use! The image looks as if it could just float away with just the slightest breeze. The color combinations and the lighting add a lot of depth to it. Great work! "V"

Super image, and the minor detail of the frame with the thin black delineator works well to contain the flow.
