My name is James Lee. I am a self-taught 3D graphics artist living in Brighton, Michigan. Im a big fan of science fiction and cinema, finding design inspiration from movies like Star Wars and Blade Runner.
I use Rhinocerous (modelling), Poser 5 (figures), Cinema 4D (modelling and rendering), PhotoPaint 10 (post-production and texturing)
My current body of work focuses on an accidental heroine, a mouse named Claude, and an ensemble of alien characters caught up in unusual circumstances. BIO Proud to be featured on

Wow, the hair and the skin texture of the girl in the foreground is amzing. I like the depth of field. The mouse is cool and those women in the back are absolutely freaky. Great work.

Every work of yours is a masterpiece and a solid answer for those who say that art with computers is too cold, standarized and non personal. In this one, light and use of color are specially superb.

This one awesome piece she and claude look so real maybe to add that special touch...add fine strands of fiber and hair to the sweater it looks wrong with the realism of the characters...oh and turn off the spectacular settings for the texture on the sweater(by the right hand it shines)....remember this is just my point of view. Not only is this so real I feel with a few more touches it would be one of the best I have seen

Final Fantasy quality!

Took me a while to comment on this... I sat in stunned silence for quite a while. For a Max, Maya, or Lightwave render, this is outstanding... For a Bryce Render, this is beyond words. Your textureing and lighting are fantastic! Although, what really gets me, is the interaction between the mouses paws and the girls hands. Spot on! Kudos on a job very well done!

Every week I make a point to visit your gallery. I always hope to see something new. However, I am ALWAYS pleased to visit the other pictures again. Each picture is ~anticipation~ made visual. I am excited every time I look. This one is no different in that it is another amazing project. The hair onher face, the mouses'hands, her nails, the lighting, the very subject matter...Damn. Years from now, I will say, " I saw his early stuff...." and my Grandkids will respond, " Suuurrrree Grampa, Sure." Do you have your own website yet? Have you considered merchandising? I could always use another neat coffee mug. Oh well, seeya next week ~wasgreg@yahoo.com
