Description


On the Stromboli island (Sicily/Italy) there's one main village called Stromboli. But on the other side of the volcano (the island looks like a perfect cone) there's another village, which consists of only a few houses, that is called Ginostra. I just wanted to show you what I belive is the smallest harbour in the world: the Ginostra's harbour. :) As you may see there's room for only one small boat at time! The village has been almost completely isolated for years as it can be reached of course just by boat. Its tesidents got electricity just a few years ago...

Yes quite small indeed. Beautiful view of the harbor from your vantage point. If they just got electricity they must really be isolated..

Before to view it I was sure to be in Italy and it is!!! Beautiful small harbour!!! In Liguria (north italy) is full of this beautiful place!!! Excellent capture shot!!! :)

That whole coastline is mind blowing from what I've seen... A total blowout for a texture freak like me... no wonder I've been kept away from it!. Great bay... lovely view!
