Description
Still wandering around Rome: after "Circus Maximus", "Coliseum" and "Forums" we come to the Trajan's Markets: probably the first "covered shopping mall" of the ancient world.
They were built by Apollodorus of Damascus for the emperor Trajan around the 110-112 AC.
The three level building were considered a wonder but their main reason was to hide the "cut" the architect made into the Quirinal hill to find a place for such a large structure as the Trajan's Forum.
The Militia's tower up there was built later in the XIII sec.
The picture consists of an horizontal stitching of three vertical shots (I think that's my best stitching so far).
Hope you like it.

Great one I like the blue sky and the nice colorful buidlings. And because of the new discussion in our forum I will also say something what I don't like ;-) I think especially near to the bottom the image is a little bit soft. I would prefer it sharper... but in the hole a great Image.
