------------- Silver Gryphon Founders - Kheldar Honglathor

As the only son of the famed mercenary General, Sardak Honglathor, Kheldar was raised in Carellon, where his father settled to serve a kingdom that could appreciate his skills. Kheldar had known nothing of his mother, or the Drowlands where he had been born. It had actually been quite a surprise to him when he met his first Drow female. As fate would have it, he was already grown by then, and the first Drow female he met was trying to kill him.

Kheldar was passing through Gryphonmyr in the summer of 18522 when he met five adventurers heading towards the capitol. Since he was heading the same way, back home to visit his father after mustering out of the Carellonian Red Blade, he thought the meeting fortunate. That was just the beginning of his association with the Silver Gryphon. In their first adventure together, after reaching Carellon, they traveled south seeking treasure and fought the Sea Dragon, Typhonbryne. Hardly had they returned to Carellon to tell the tale and spend the treasure horde than the capitol was submerged in the Night of Demons. Kheldar soon met the Chairman and accepted an assignment as a member of the Drovik Secret Police. The horrors that followed were the fire that forged the Silver Gryphon into one of the most famed venture companies of all time. At length, they faced and defeated Duke Lucias Guardsbane, before he could become the Avatar of the Ravager and unleash Ragnarok. They were the first to uncover the secret of Chia'Khan and warn the world of the coming of the Dragon Emperor.

But it was Kheldar who resurrected the name of Silver Gryphon and passed it on to another generation of adventurers, a generation who managed to outshine the founders themselves. Kheldar retired at length, or so they say. As General Honglathor, he accepted the position of Drovik Ambassador to Carellon. And in her twilight years, it was Kheldar who took Queen Amanda away from Carellon, off on her last adventure. Though he lived on for many years after, his first, truest and only love was Amanda Hayes. And though she had two husbands, a son, and many lovers, Amanda's heart was moved by no man like the stern jawed Drovik Weaponsmaster-Elemental Mage.
