Description

In an alternative world, two flying Barracudas of the Evil Empire are returning home. This model is based on one of WW2 most famous fighters - the Spitfire. Modeled and rendered with C4D. Background created in C4D using serval semi-transparent vertically placed planes with foggy textures. Flak explosions and ground added in post. Textured using UV-mapper. All the stuff is available for download from my site (www.colacola.se) Hope you like it!

This is impressive - a simple enough scene - with great models, great textures, great background all of which equal up to PERFECT execution. Could be a frame from a movie. Excellent and VOTE (Oh, thanks in advance for posting the stuff on your site, I'm off to check it out)

Nice work. The Airplanes look a little too shiney, just my impression. The background is really nice!:)

Another fine piece of work. (Geek Mode) I can't put my hand to a reference book at the moment...Is that a Mark VB or IXB? I do hope you will do a lot more of this WW2 modelling. Considering the interest in the era there seems t be relatively little in the way of 3d modelling for it. How about some Axis stuff?
