still working on the concept of sand and waves. i think my colors are running too neutral in the sand and i still havent successfully gotten the wet sand look. i was trying to add the wet sand surface as a child to my main sand..but im beginning to think maybe it should be a totally separate surface set just for that wet effect. how do you " longhorns" handle that? is there some rule of thumb for color shift and tone when the surface is " wet"?...is it mostly post-work? if anyone has some suggestions I'm all ears : ) Thanx

Nicely done beach side; The water is very nice.

Very good water, and nice beach. Wet sand (darker)at the waterline will make it more realistically. (set the max altitude from the dark sand layer a little bit higher than the water with maximal Coverage and more sharp than fuzzy)

CarmenST gives good advice; also, consider using the color you now have for the wet sand; and, lighten the color of the sand you now have.

Great water. I agree with CamenST.

Great study and good advice. Looks like you've used the "foam" settings only, you might try combine it with the "Waterworks Surf" plugin to further improve the shoreline (already looks good)

Nice beach - not "watermark" along shore though.
