Description
In the quiet of the afternoon's heat, she tears herself away and comes to the bath just to cool down a little. Just for a moment or two, then she will go back in. Such splendid surroundings and yet, they offer no pleasure, no satisfaction. She does not see the beauty at all, just cold hard stone. Her life amidst this luxury is one that most people would give anything to have, even to be a servant here, but she would trade it all to have just one thing... the one she loves lays dying and she can do nothing. Her master is a good and caring man, unusual for a Centurian. He too is distraught over her love's plight and so he has sent for doctor of sorts, some kind of healer, a man named Jesus...

A little liberty, but not beyond possiblity. Just a different vantage on a familiar Biblical account, one well worth highlighting and revisiting. I hope you have enjoyed it.

Very challenging lighting conditions on this scene - don't know if you set radiosity on this one? Could help a lot - but this is still a very good scene - bravo for composition!
