Description

This image was mainly focused on the water. Wanted to experiment the settings for waves and shore foam to mimic flow towards the viewer. It took 58Hours of rendering to deliver this image at 5000X3750 (with all the render options at max.... )!!!! I am not sure what the impact of this is on the image when reduced and manipulated in Photoshop....except for the extreme time taken ! Oh the woes of the water in Terragen......! The terrain was obtained from a site that was signaled to me by Bob (Choronr) and is : http://www.imaginature.us and apparently was put there by LutzB (thank you Lutz for this nice terrain !). This has a soft, ethereal mood that is enhanced by the lighting and haze. I agree about the 'oil painting' look this image achieves. Further; I would like to see this image cropped (top and bottom to reduce the darkness); and, converted to a pano scene. This image has a lot of excellent things going for it.
