I like the light. Pity that I can see the end of the terrain. Maybe a different pov could help. I would like to see some more surface layers. Go on - you are on the right way! :-)

Welcome to our nutty little family! Nice lighting and mood. Interesting water and the sky is very dramatic. Nice one. The part of the water on the left side of the image is what HeikoH refers to...the "End of the World" or the edge of your terrain. We try to hide this with mountains or a lower point of view. Give us another one!

The dramatic sky is very good as is the lighting and atmosphere.

Interesting water and good lighting - I'm afraid you can see too much of the end of the terrain from this pov - keep at it - you've a good sense of drama!

Is your Terragen registered yet??, You can get bigger terrain when you do; A couple of times the edge of the terrain stood out in my renders; I tried stbc's 'Hide behind mountain' move but IMHO, The viewer was 'restricted' to that one area and was'nt allowed to "Look behind the set" if the viewer's eye wanted to explore; Instead, I opted to use terrains as big as my Terragen (and my PC)can handle; Keep it up, You're doin' good.

Interesting effect with the water. Nice lighting on the mountain. Agree with HeikoH on the 'edge' of your world. Welcome to TG and have fun with the program. You're on a good start.
