Description

I know, I know, there are severe aliasing problems in this image..the antialiased version is still being rendered on my ancient 266 mhz pentium II computer. I just thought I would post this quick preview to give an idea what I've been doing. The lack of antialiasing really hurts this image..so this one will be replaced when the final image is done. Done in pov-ray.

This is very nice and the roughness of the non AA grean leaves is very natural feeling

Very nice. You could get the free VickyRR fairy from Daz Studio and use PosRay to place her in a setting like this and she would be quite at home! This would also make a nice desktop or background image for Poser or Daz Sudio. I remember one PovRay render taking 17 hours on my 486 a few years back, thank goodness systems are getting not just faster, but lots less expensive too. You might be able to get a free 400 to 500 Mhz system from someone upgrading. Keep up the PovRay forest work, as looks like plenty of people here want to see what you can render up.
