Description

This is my first place finish in the latest themed challenge! Thank you so much for everyone who voted for it...I dedicate this pic to all of you! :D Terrain is Shannon Moon is from a photoshop brush I downloaded in freestuff. Note: Yeah, I know I should've put stars in the sky too...for some reason it slipped my mind! I'm still new to this postworking/compositing business! I'm sorry I haven't been contributing much lately...grad school and life have been getting in the way. I don't know how much I'll be posting pics, but I'll try to comment more often. Thanks everyone for your support! --Mike

AMAZING IMAGE!!! Glad to having you posting in the gallery again, I guess you've been spending all your time working on challenge images! ;) That and grad school, I know how busy that can be. The moon is cool but with it being that bright, you probably wouldn't really see that much detail in it. And there would be few stars around the bright full moon so that is okay. Simply goregeous terrain!. keep 'em coming and try not to let life get in the way of what REALLY matters, Renderosity! ;^P V

Keep on with your school work, we can wait, and are happy to gobble up the occasional bit of fluff you toss our way. Like this one for example...(lol) Belay that - yours was a well deserved win with this one!!! Excellent light and shadows!

Hats Off to you Mike! Excellent Light Here. Not trying to burst your Balloon but, maybe next Moon with this much haze try a little less contrast on the moon to go with the atmo. Still a well deserved win! Bravo!
