Description
Phew! This pic was a request of my wife. The Poser elements were flawless this time (well, except for getting clothes to fit right!). The woman is the rayne model seen in another of my deviations. The butterflies were done in Poser with Particles 2.0 and the bridge was also a poser prop. Everything else (including the render) was done in Vue Esprit 5. This is where the problems came from. The scene weighs in just shy of 2.5 million polygons and it would not let me add so much as 1 more poly without crashing! All said and done, I think Vue crashed over 40 times doing this picture (which took me about a week). This is with the newest available patch applied. Insane. The scene was rendered at Superior quality with Global Illumination. The eagle was DAZ's eagle from Poser as well, now that I think of it.
I tried a new way of texturing the terrain, what's everyone think? I think it looks pretty realistic... The biggest challenge there was to have things (the bushes, flowers) to take away from the straight lines of where models intersected with the terrain.
