Description
First posted render using Poser 6. As simple as it looks, days worth of work went into this. Includes the following:
1) Slight subsurface scattering on her skin
2) 1 IBL AO light and 2 other lights behind her with AO and depth based shadow maps turned on (needed for SSS)
3) Model is the winterqueen model that comes with the special edition of Poser 6
4) Background is cyclorama
5) Fog on the bottom of the screen was made with Particles 2.0. Damn does that take a long time to render with settings on final
6) Changed the texturing on the outfit a little... The reddish parts are actually from a free texture pack from Runtime DNA. I didn't add much bumping tho, I kinda like it smooth like that
7) Spent *ALOT* of time on the skin. There is SSS as mentioned above, but alot of other stuff too. I did *NOT* use Real Skin Shader (by face_off), but I did use his techniques outlined here: http://www.users.on.net/~pkinnane/RealSkinShaderTutorial.html . I used this as a guideline for the fresnel and spots effects. I did not, however, use the settings as outlined, for better or worse. Took alot of playing around, but I'm pretty happy with her skin texture now.
8) Expression by me... I think the look on her face rocks :p
All in all this was a big learning experience regarding Poser 6. I'm pretty happy with it, but I obviously need more ram :p Render took over 2 hours at the highest settings (except the texture max size was lowered to 1024).

Truly exceptional work...BRAVO!!

This is fantastic! The fog is super. And her wings turned out really well. Her skin is very good, although some bit better than others. her belly looks the best, but her right arm and the right side of her face look like they have been overpowered by FastScatter - making it look like there is a red light off to the left (which is inconsistent with the rest of the scene - specially the fog!). Her left side hasn't get that redness, and looks much better.
