Description
*Felt the wet sky above,
around,
inside,
small pond
no doors,
all sounds just vanish
into something undefined
but strong.
Within there's light,
just doubts still come...
The slipping drops
wrap my skin up,
within this pond,
there are still sharks:
I'm not afraid,
I don't feel lost,
I'll keep my promise unbroken
and further on,
day after day,
in my wet pond
I'll find your ray:
there won't be sharks,
just voices gold,
what I can make
is to be yours.

While Italy's under snow menace, (that's why my internet was messy these past days and I couldn't be around),I decided to go with my Stef and some other people to Genova Aquarium, one of the most important in the entire world, today. The occasion was to bring there some paraplegic kids and it has been awesome to share with them the magnificent vision of so many marvels of Nature swimming, showing their beauty and royal moves around, in an atmosphere of purely enchanting silence and light games.
I have many pictures, but it's never easy to take good ones at pools, cos you can't use flashes nor heavy lights and everyone flips around makin everything even more uneasy.This is no really good picture, but after all none of mine are, so ;)...
I decided for this one (many others are gonna be one day in my website... but thinkin of my times next update is gonna be in four months,as the latest one is so recent ;)) cos I find sharks very elegant, unfairly hated and fascinating. And this poem was quitly fitting, though I wrote it about 2 years ago :)
I have many works to see I know, I'll cope with everything tomorrow :) and on Monday.
Now is Sanremo Festival, you know ;) (this can be understood only by Italians!;)) and for teh very first time I am liking it.
So see you tomorrow and.. let's be friendly :)

Firstly, your shot is beautiful and very well composed. Secondly, isn't wonderful how things come together sometimes? Like this image and your poem. And thirdly, I agree about sharks. They are beautiful and frightening at the same time which makes them very amazing indeed! And fourthly, I love the message in this work!

sounds like a good place to go on a cold winter's day... these tanks are difficult to shoot with only available light & no tripod... think i'd rather admire these beauties from afar though... a wave at the most, no handshake or hug, lol! :] well done... have a beautiful weekend meli

Funny...I just had a dream about sharks the other night. This is a great shot! I'm sure the kids loved it to! Everything is good and wonderful.

This shot has the real effect of being very frightening.Darkness in back and shadows do very good.Now let's se you go in the tank and try shooting some pictures.I don't think you would have to worry about your internet connection then. Glad to see you post in photo.
