Description

Yesterday, i uploaded the color version of this photo of reflections in glass. Someone suggested that it would be better in monochrome, so here is a grayscale version. You can compare to the color version in my gallery.

You can read my comment to this post in the colour version you posted yesterday :) I would love to hear your own opinion. B&W or Colour ?

I like the color better. My feeling is that having the color differences makes most images "easier to read". That is, the mind does not have to work so hard to make sense of adjacent gray areas that are close to the same brightness, because they are likey to have different hues. Thus a color image provides more "bandwidth" to the brain. For the same reason, i would do stereo images, if i could - to add yet another channel of "bandwidth". Giving the viewer more clues to interpret the image is especially important in images like this one, with unusual points of view or superpositions. This has been my opinion for some time, this image seems to further support that theory for me.
