Description

Done in paintshop 7 whole thing with a mouse . paint and smudge tools ... throw it on smear it around is how I do it . takes hours and a steady hand ..and I am alwasy never happy enough so sooner or later i just have to save the darn thing so I dont forget to eat. LOL ( dont laugh) When I was a teenager in school, often I would get scolded for drawing durning lessons. I FELT it ACTUALLY helped me to concentrate. Teachers told my parents that I infact had a problem with daydreaming. LOL one time I got sent to the Dean and got into big trouble when I drew a picture of OLD Mr Wisdom sleeping with M&M's falling outta his shirt pocket( well -heye-it was what I saw )- he woke up and glanced over and OUT of the classroom I went,.got detention for a week at lunch. Sometimes though, I would get lost into daydreams ...and , the world around me would slip away and I would go to more interesting place deep within my immagination...... She daydreams... .Visions of light dance upon the water's edge ..and horizons open untouched . Her road is yet to begin, She stares blankly into the reflection and dreams. .the place around her suddenly stops and becomes new . she slides into another world - one she has never gone to .. Alighted gateway into a glimpse of heaven.. and, finds herself there in a cloud of white bliss,. blanketing her with feelings of the truest form. .... of pure true love and, being held in all of it's glory.... and she wondersif "its'" out there ....if he's out there. Or did he live in another time and has already turned to dust with only a gravestone to mark his existance?. She wonders and daydreams ....and slightly smiles innocently at the thought of being loved. And then ALL of the limitless possibilities that await her. I did this all by hand. late the other night , it started with Miranda but grew into something else from my dreamy mind and strokes with the mouse.. It represent's all the things we wish for , hope for deep down -in the secret places of the heart.

Dear Kimarie, very beautiful work - very thoughtful work. And as you say, it obviously requires a steady hand on the mouse. But even more, it requires a caring heart to give birth to the emotions - to place them onto our electronic canvases. I hope that Miranda finds "ALL of the limitless possibilities that await her." I hope you do, too! Excellent work! Love, Meredith

we are just TOO much alike, Kimmers!!!! That story you just told...well, you told MY story!!!! Seriously! Well, except it was Mr. Wilson...it was Mr. Lancaster...Ivan Lancaster. OMG, you make me laugh hysterically again remembering this!!!! I never got detention, and i never got caught drawing silly pictures of him!!! Anyway, Mr. Lancaster taught Literature & History, and believe me, you NEVER knew what he would come to school dressed like!!! Sometimes he would come dressed up like George Washington...full costume, wig and all!! He was a total NUT and i hate to admit it but i did participate in making fun of him! anyway, enough about that. Anyway, your image is dreamy, classy, and full of hope and promises!!! Getting lost in our imagination...sigh it's wonderful isn't it!!!!! Fantastic artwork, gurl!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful wonderful painting .. I will stop commenting on the fact that you do it all with a mouse, wich is so fantastid and incredible that you can manage that, but also since it looks so natural for you and effordless (but I know that it takes a looot of time and as you sey a steady hand :-). Fantastic writing (again).. can dream away to your words. I guess we are many daydreamers here LOL .. and as you may have guessed I also did draw in the classes at my school.. even later at the lectures at university. Fantastic painting you did here .. am I right in understanding that this is not a photo paintover. It is wonderful!!!! V
