Description

- Scotland, Ben Cruachan - The next day I in vain waited for better weather. There only were few days before my vacation would come to an end and I was forced to hike in heavy rain. Some days ago I tried to find the path up to the place you see here but it ended in a lost area covered by almost manhigh wet fern and I was wet to the skin. I was very mad about that inability. This day I found the path up to the Cruachan Power Station hidden deep within the mountain of Ben Cruachan on the shores of Loch Awe. On the way up I had a wonderful view over the area but when I reached the dam there was nothing else to see because I stood before a wall of deep clouds and fog! ;o( But the mighty silence and roughness around appears unreally. WOW i wish i could have been there!! I just went to the Hoover Dam and thought it was the prettiest Dam i ever saw but this is amazing !! GREAT capture thanks for sharing!!!

Magnificent!!!!! Wow, that fog IS really thick, Rita!!! But at least it stayed back so you could take this stunning picture!!!! The colors here are soooooo wonderful!!!!!
