Description

- Scotland, Inverarnen - It was sunday and the rain floated me to Inverarnen at the north end of Loch Lomond. There I visited the "Drovers Inn" for lunch. This pub is one of the oldest inns of Scotland and the decor is still like 200 years ago with a great atmosphere and the barmen serve you in kilts. Here you see the entry with old stuff around and if you need a room for some nights you can get it also. I'm glad that Anthony aka Aangus made the suggestion to visit this place. Thanks for your interest and all comments I appreciate! ;o)

What a place, such character! I envy you your travels! I can just picture all the animal heads joining in to sing a rowdy Scottish drinking song! ;]

heyy, this place is cool! It could be the house of a hobbit! ;-) You've got it really well, to succeed in an inside shot like this is something really rare... All my compliments, lady! (there are just a few things I don't like on the walls) but this shot is GORGEOUS!!

Fascinatin hotel, the dedor though is not what appeals to me, I do not like to see animal trophys, but know they are a part od Scotland's sport. the foto is very nice and could be nice to visit if those heads were not there. eccellent. Lina

A hotel with weird atmosphere.. I like it and hate it at the same time.. I like it because it's part of history, but I do not like the furniture much, especially the hunting trophees. The photo itselfs however is wonderful and you've captured the atmosphere very well.
