Description

Little red glare under this lava pile. Its not ready to step on or picked up yet. The hiker before me tried to pick up a finger of lava. He said the lava was sharp as glass (his hand were bleeding). Aloha and thank you for viewing

It looks metallic in a way. This is so cool to see it so clear. Good on you.

There are always those that think they are Superman or just not enough sense in thier brain. Just find it interesting that you were able to move in so close to actual larva still being so hot and alive. Nice going here.

Sheila, I'm on a different bed of lava. But as I looked thru the cracks of the lava mound that I was standing on, I could see the red glow of lava directly below me. I took several picture of it but they came out blurred (photographer error). I do have one which I'll post later on.

Yes, it is very sharp (know from experience). I would stay well back from that hot, glowering lidded eye of malevolent doooooom! DOOOOOM I tells ya! ;]
