Description
The original Volcano vent (Pu'u O'o) is several miles away. Here is a close up of the lava after much traveling distance away from the main vent. Aloha and thank you for viewing

wow, that's amazing to look at! love the colors of the oozing lava, form the amber glow to the metalic surface! simply an awesome capture and while i appreciate seeing this....DO be careful as not to get all burned up, cause you look damn close to that stuff!!! very well done! and extra thumbs up for the EXTREME factor!!!!

Great composition in this shot. The think cooling crust with the molten rock underneath is a wonder to behold. Looks like our friends near Mt. Saint Helens may be seeing some of this soon too!
