Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 Here's A neat spiral I've been playing with. It uses the Cubic Julia formula in the spr.ufm file and the fbm Popcorn Trap (mt.ucl) and Sine-mod (djk.ucl) combo that I've been going nutz over, lately. Sort of an Aussie aboriginal vibe to the design on the spiral, I think. "Woot", Jackie? lol Thanks for stopping by and for your VERY encouraging comments on my past images - having a rough time at work(plant shut downs) and it sure cheers me up to read the wonderful stuff you guys say. :?) Rick

Fascinating. Not seen anything like this before. I can see where you're coming from with the tribal feel to the texture. Sorry to hear about problems at work. Good to have the art to balance that out :)

Very cool pattern on the swirling shapes; your texturing work is always so interesting! Sorry to hear about the work woes; I lost the first job I had as a professional designer due to economic troubles in the late 1980's. I have had a number of jobs since then and the transitions between them are always hard to deal with. Hope you find an even better job in the near future. Your art brings joy to us all.

That coloring and lighting is nothing short of perfect. I myself haven't been able to get anything out of the Cubic Julia formula, I must be using it wrong. ;-)

Stunning design love the subtle colouring and shadows - I have not seen a UF design quite like this before, like carved/etched wood. Good luck Rick you deserve- If these great comments are anything to go by your future will be rosy :O)

This is what you should be doing all the time, never mind the day job. It certainly reminds me of Aboriginal cave paintings and is different from anything else I have seen in UF. Spurs me on to try the formula. I hope the work situation picks up soon, I know you have to eat!
