Description

A little bridge of ice spans the rivulet, probably a remnant of old snow covering the entire surface here. The streaming water might have added droplets that have been frozen here. Remarkable structures built by nature.... Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 100 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Amazing how something as ordinary as that can look soooo beautiful captured at the right moment. The light and shadows in this one is just perfect!!! And by the way the snowcrystals are glittering it also makes it look kinda cold. Awesome texture on the snow as well. PERFECT CAPTURE!!! Have a great weekend #:o)

We are out of the cold now thank goodness, but it's good to look at what we had. Excellent!

It raises the question, "In life, what is the purpose of snow?" There is the visible dimension seen from close-up here. There is the feel. There is the absorption of radiation that seems to suck up mammal heat. Then there is the joy of invention that leads to snow skis and toboggans.

This is a gorgeous close up of the stream and snow at just the right time of day. I see a little figure with a snout in there that reminds me of a creature from the paintings of Heironymous Bosch. :]

Great POV on this pretty mountain stream! The deep blanket of snow hardly seems disturbed. Nicely done!
